WELCOME TO THE VILLBERGS UNIVERSE.
Real life power couple Ronny and Andreas, also known as The Villbergs, met while studying in Sweden in 2009. Former stylist and makeup artist Ronny studied patternmaking, design theory and graphic design at Malmö University. Andreas attended Lund University and finished his Bachelor Degree in Architecture 2012.
Come 2012, the pair hungered for a visual outlet for all of their built-up creative ambitions, in other words: they were in desperate need of having some fun between essays and lectures! Combining all their varied talents the couple created the nightclub entertainment act, Duo RAW, that later transformed into The Villbergs.
The Duo’s statuesque appearance and unique approach to fashion quickly lead to an international career traveling the world with performances to music produced by friend and collaborator Ebesohn. The Villbergs have to date (2023) performed in over 30 countries spread over 5 continents.
As their career grew bigger, so did the couple’s talents for costume making and design. The Villbergs attention to detail and unwavering drive to constantly evolve their designs has led to a completely unique, one-of-a-kind appearance. They’re very proud of the fact that they design and sew everything that they wear as designing and creating art is the center of their artistry.
Being all about quality The Villbergs has been acknowledged by the fashion industry and some of the world’s leading brands, stylists and not to forget, photographers. The duo has hosted events for the likes of David LaChapelle and Susanne Bartsch, toured the world with club concepts as Cirque Le Soir, collaborated with makeup guru Pat McGrath, been named “the one to look out for” by MTV-Iggy, been featured in Italian Vogue, shot by Mike Ruiz and Steven Klein and collaborated with brands like MAC Cosmetics, Wella Professionals, Björn Borg and Calvin Klein.
The couple got legally married in June 2022 after being a couple for 13 years. Their wedding is featured in season 2 of their TV-show The Villbergs Chronicles.
